Mr. and Mrs. Max Ellenbogen, 4555 Draper Avenue, entertained seventy guests at a cocktail party at their home in honour of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Ellenbogen, of Boston, Mass. The hostess was in a mink-brown lace sheath, made with a square neckline, and short sleeves. Mrs. George Ellenbogen, was in a coral-coloured wool jersey dress, having a scooped neckline, short sleeves. The table was trimmed with a centerpiece of pink and white gladioli and pom-poms.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kliffer, 4930 Mayfair Avenue, celebrated the bar-mitzvah of their son, Mark, who was called to the Reading of the Law, at Shaare Zedek Synagogue. Kiddush was observed. The following evening Mr. and Mrs. Kliffer were hosts to eighty guests at a dinner at Ruby Foo's. Mrs. Kliffer was in a beige wool sheath, made with a high neckline, and three-quarter-length sleeves.
