The marriage of Miss Joyce Kornbluth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Kornbluth, 719 Bel-mont Avenue, to Paul Lowenstein, son of Dr. and Mrs. Louis Lowenstein, 63J Victoria Avenue, took

place in the Versailles Room, of the Windsor Hotel, on December 18, at twelve o'clock noon. Rabbi Wilfred Shuchat officiated, assisted by Dr. Harry J. Stern, Rabbi. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown was of antique ivory satin, fashioned with an elongated, bodice, which shaped to a full skirt, gathered to wide pleats, and extending to a long train. Her floor-length mantilla was held in place by a pillbox headdress of seed pearl beads and crystals; and .her white prayer book was adorned .with white orchids and stephanotis. Miss Vicki Kornbluth, sister of the bride, was maid of honour, in blue faille; with a matching toque hat, trimmed with blue veiling; and she carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and stepnanotis. Mr. and Mrs. Lowenstein spent their wedding trip- in Puerto Rico, the bride travelling in an ensemble of Delft-blue, cashmere wool, trimmed with white mink; and a matching hat; and a corsage bouquet of white orchids. The marriage of Miss Sophie Abraham, daughter of Mrs, Sally Abraham, 8792 Btthurat Street/to Ted Chester,' 483 Lawrence Ay* nue West, was solemnized on DCK cember 10, at half-past six o'clock, at Adath Israel Synagogue, by Rabbi Erwin Schild, assisted by Cantor Murray Nixon. The bride was given' in marriage by her brother, Abe Abraham. She wore a white, peau de sole gown; cut with a scalloped neckline; a fitted, Guipure , lace bodice; a satin cummerbund; and a bouffant skirt ap-pliqued with lace; also a jewelled, Juliet cap which held her finger* tip -tulle illusion veil, She car* ried a cascade of white orchids and stephanotis. Mrs. Abe Abraham, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honour. She wore a turquoise-blue; delustered satin gown; cut with a fitted bodice; and a square-neckline; also a matching bat; and carried a cascade of Talisman roses and baby chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids were: Misses Rochelle Druker, niece of the groom; and Marilyn Acker-man. They wore light blue, or-ganza gowns; and matching hats. Each carried a cascade of Talisman roses and baby chrysanthemums. The flower girls were Sandra Druker, niece of the groom; and Lyla Ackerman. Each wore a light blue, silk organza dress: with matching hats; and carried nosegays of mixed flowers. The best man was Isaac Silberman. The ushers were: Ben Ackerman, Leo Blumenfeld, Samuel Newman, and Milton Kaplan. Standards of bronze-coloured and yellow chrysanthemums decorated the altar. Mrs. Abraham, mother of the bride, wore a champagne-coloured, Chantilly lace gown, styled with bracelet sleeves; and a sheath skirt; also a matching hat; and had a corsage of bronze-coloured roses. Mrs. Manuel Druker, sister of the groom, assisted, in a fuchsia peau de soie gown; with a hat to match; and had a corsage of white roses. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Chester spent their wedding trip on a Caribbean cruise and in New York. They will reside at 8792 Bathurst Street.
