ITOVITCH-SHERMAN
The marriage of Miss Anne Sherman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moe Sherman, 5614 Rand Avenue, to Bernard Itovitch, son of Mrs. Charles Schwartz, 3786 Dupuis Avenue, and the late William Itovitch, took place at Beth Zion Synagogue, on October 16, at half-past six o'clock. Rabbi Sidney
Shoham officiated, assisted by Cantor Tiber Holczer. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She was gowned in white satin appliqued with lace; cut with a fitted bodice; portrait neckline; short sleeves; and full bouffant skirt which finished as a chapel train. Her short veil of tulle illusion was draped to a rhinestone tiara; and she carried a prayer book with white orchids and stephanotis. Sherman, and Michael, Joseph, and Minda; and Mrs. B. Raffalovitch, of Toronto, Ont.: Mr. and Mrs. B. Kraft, Mrs. S. Haroness of Atlantic City. N. J.; Mrs. Goldie Miller, of Rouyn, Que.; Mrs. J. Woogman, of Vancouver, B. C.; and Morris Loeb, of Miami Beach, Florida.

The marriage of Miss Phyllis Sandra Sloan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Sloan. 4690 Stanley Weir Street, to Sydney Joshua Ostrovsky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack P. Ostrovsky. 4300 Bou-chette Avenue, took place in the chapel of the Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue, on November 19, at four o'clock. Rabbi Wilfred Shu-chat officiated, assisted by Cantor N. Mendelson and Reverend J. J. Fromm. The bride was given in marriage by heir father. She was gowned in white satin, made with a fitted bodice, and having a jewelled neckline, long sleeves, bell-shaped skirt ending in a chapel train. Her three-quarter-length veil of tulle illusion was draped to a coronet of seed-pearl-beads; and she carried a prayer book adorned with a cascade of white orchids. Miss Tanalee Smith, as maid of honour was in a white and gold-coloured brocaded gown, made with a fitted bodice, having a scoop neckline, and semi-bouffant skirt. She had a matching crown headdress; and a brim of matching tulle. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white roses. Susan Leibovitch and Shelley Lei-bovitch, cousins of the bride, were flower girls. They wore apricot-coloured, silk organza party dresses; matching large bows in their hair; and carried nosegays of yellow rosebuds. David Ostrovsky was best man for his brother. The marriage of Miss Libby Rabinovitch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moe Rabinovitch, 8180 De 1'Epee Avenue, to Eugene Martin Reiss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Reiss, of Irvington, N* J.^ took place at 3956 St. Lawrence Boulevard, on November 25, at seven o'clock. Dr. Solomon Frank, Rabbi, officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She was attired in white peau de soie, cut with a fitted bodice; square, lace neckline; long sleeves; and full bouffant skirt. Her veil of tulle illusion was attached to a crown of seed-pearl-beads; and she carried white orchids and stephanotis. Miss Freda Goldfinger, as maid of honour, was in a turquoise-blue, satin gown, made with a full skirt; with a matching hat; and carried white carnations. Fred Reiss was best man for his brother. White, pink, and yellow carnations decorated the hall. An orchestra played. One hundred and ten guests were received. Mrs. Rabinovitch, the bride's mother, was in a light blue lace sheath; with a matching hat. Mrs. Reiss, the groom's mother, wore a turquoise-blue, satin sheath; with a hat of the same shade. Each had a corsage of white orchids. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Martin Reiss spent their wedding trip at Grossinger's, in Ferndale, N. Y., the bride going away in a mauve, knitted dress; with a corsage of white orchids. They have taken up residence in Irvington, N. Y. Here for the marriage were: his parents; and his brother, Fred Reiss; Mr. and Mrs. L. Reiss, his uncle and aunt, and Sheila; Mr. and Mrs. E. Skubik, and Walter; and Mr. and Mrs. I. Muster; all of Irvington, N. J.; Mr. and Mrs. P. Nichols, and Dr. Irwin Nichols, of Ottawa, Ont.; Mrs. Toby Verblunsky, of Toronto, Ont; and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pollack, and Robert and Neil, of Long Island, N. Y.
