five hard-boiled eggs
two and one-half peeled apples
one finely-chopped onion
Chop all Ingredients. Add pepper and a dash of cinnamon to taste. If recipe seems not moist enough, add some pickled herring Juicfe, or more vinegar. If this is too soar, add a teaspoon of sugar. Quantities may be reduced to one-half or one-quarter of above for family serving.

SUPER-HAMBURGERS
one large onion
one small apple
one and one-half pounds
hamburger one and one-half cups crisp
rice cereal
one stalk celery
salt
pepper
two tablespoons salad or olive oil
few sprigs parsley
Pre-heat broiler. Peel onion and apple. Chop celery, tomato, and parsley. Add cereal, salt, and pepper, and mix all ingredients together thoroughly, except the oil. Shape meat into six plump patties, and place on broiler pan. Brush tops with oil, and broil about three inches from tip of flame or broiling unit, ten minutes on each side.
