Indig, 864 Harvard Avenue, Ghomedey. Mr. Greenberg is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry I. Greenberg, of Ottawa, Ont.
Harry Clapoff, and daughter, Miss Anita Clapoff, 4524 Draper Avenue, were in Washington, D.C.j where Mr, Clapoff and his cousin, Mrs. Raizel Kanofsky, of Washington, met for the first time in fifty years.

Mr. and Mrs. Max Shrier, and Stephen, Arlene, and Richard, 600 Fraser Street, spent the season in Lac Long, Quebec.
Daniel Earl Rosenthal, of Cleveland, Ohio, spent a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rosenthal, and Eileen, Tom, and Beverly, 6726 Cote St. Luc Road. Mr. Rosenthal, who is attending the Ohio College of Chiropody, resides with Rabbi Ben Marcus, 3325 Hyde Park Road, Cleveland. Ohio, while taking a course in Podiatry, treatment of the feet. He motored to Montreal with a friend, Jeffery Fox, of Cleveland.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry H. Peters, and Brenda Lee, formerly of 2875 Ekers Road, have moved to 5460 Cranbrooke Avenue.
Mrs. Harold H. Adeland, Cote St. Luc Road, is spending some time with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Semon Gerald Jacobson (nee Shanna Ruth Adeland, formerly of Montreal), and new-born daughter, Carrie Eta, of Halifax, N.S.

Mr. and Mrs. Moe Lesser (nee Beatrice Gasoi), and sons, Jim, Neil, and Bruce, of Ottawa, Ont., formerly of Montreal, motored to M iami Beach, Florida. They visited with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Kushner, and Terry, and Leslie; and Mrs. Rita Schecter and Jerry, and DoYi-Sue; all of Hollywood, Florida.
Mrs. M. Zweigman, of Halifax, N.S., visited her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lemcovitch, 6905 Victoria Avenue.
Miss Rosal'nd Hyman, 5001 Jean Brillant Avenue, returned via Canadian Pacific Air Lines after spending three months in Sardinia, Italy, Germany, France, and England.
MARRIAGES
MACKNOFSKY-SEIDMAN
The marriage of Miss Frances Seidman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Seidman, 4763 Mackenzie Street, to Frank Macknofsky, son of Mrs. Gertie Macknofsky, 2520 Van Home Avenue, and the late Joseph Macknofsky, took place at Shomrim Laboker-Beth Yehuda-Shaare Tefillah Synagogue, on Sunday, July 1, at half-past six o'clock. Dr. Chaim N. Denburg^ Rabbi, officiated, assisted by Cantor Arieh Suber. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She was gowned in white, embroidered organza; designed with a tight-fitted bodice; square neckline; short sleeves; and bell-shaped skirt terminating in a long train. Her veil of tulle illusion was combined with a crown of seed-pearl-beads; and she carried a fan with white orchids. Miss Debbie Macknofsky, sister of the groom, as maid of honour, wore a pale green, peau de soie gown which had a full" skirt; also a matching, pillbox hat; and carried a cascade of white and yellow carnations. Rosemary Blumenthal, aged ten years, niece of the groom; and Joy Seidman, ten. niece of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. Rosemary wore an aquamarine-blue, organza dress; and Joy wore a pink and white one. Their crowns were of white and pink flowers; and they carried nosegays of the same flowers. Shelley Feldman, aged four years, niece of the bride, as flower girl, wore an aquamarine-blue, organza party dress; with a crown of white and aquamarine-blue carnations; and carried a basket of white rose petals. Jack Feldman, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man. The ushers were: Allan and Peter Seidman, and Ernest Seidman, nephews of the bride; Mark Rosen, Larry Rosenthal, and Barry Fligel, cousins of the bride; Daniel and Irving Silverman, Eli Shaffer, and Hyman Silverman, cousins of the groom. Joel Blumenthal, nephew of the groom, was page boy. White and aquamarine-blue carnations and gladioli formed the wedding decoration. There was orchestra music. Two hundred and eighty guests were received in the Synagogue hall. Mrs. Seidman, the bride's mother, wore an aqua-

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Macknofsky spent their wedding trip in the Pdcono; Mountains, of Pennsylvania, the bride travelling in a white, linen suit. They have taken up residence at 6100 de Courtrai Street. Here from a distance for the marriage were: Mrs. I. Stern, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Silverman, Mr. and Mrs. D. Silverman, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. S. Schreider, Mr. and Mrs. B. Peltz, Mrs. Anna Dansky, of Boston, Mass.; Mr. and Mrs. L. Cohen, and Saul Sherman, of New York.
BAR-MITZVAHS
Alvin Zane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Freedman, 4815 Mackenzie Street, will be called to the Reading of the Law in honour of his bar-mitzvah on September 15, at Beth Hamedrash Hagadol Synagogue. He is the brother of Irwin Freedman; grandson of J. Ittkin, 5021 Victoria Avenue, and the late Mrs. R. Ittkin; and of Mrs. G. Sherman, 6550 Cote St. Luc Road, and the late G. Freedman. Kiddush will be observed. A luncheon in the Synagogue hall will follow services.
