LEMPEL-COLE
The marriage of Miss Lynn Resa Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melville Cole, 2 Overdale Road, to Michael Jeffrey Lempel, son of Herman Lempel, of Tenafly, N. J., and the late Mrs. 'Beatrice Lempel, was solemnized in the Chapel of Holy Blossom Temple, at seven o'clock, on August 19, by Rabbi Jerald Bobrow, assisted by Cantor Samuel Stolnitz. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attired in white peau de soie, fashioned with fitted bodice; scooped neckline; elbow-length sleeves; and a panel of Alencon lace down the front of the gown; and a full skirt, with a bow at the back, ending in a chapel train. Her waist-length veil of tulle illusion was topped by a crown of Alencon lace; and she carried a Bible, with an orchid and stephanotis. Miss Rita Lempel, sister of the groom, was maid of honour, wearing a gown of mauve chiffon, with full skirt; and bodice embroidered in gold-coloured thread. Her headband was of pale-green chiffon; and she carried a muff of yellow-tinted carnations. Richard Cole, brother of the bride, was best man. The ushers were: Raymond Starr, and Neil Finer, cousins of the bride. Seventy-five guests were received at a dinner at the Regency Towers Hotel. Mrs. Cole, mother of the bride, was gowned in white chiffon, with draped front, and a low, cowl-neckline at the back. She had a white, feathered headband; and a bronze-coloured orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Jeffrey Lempel travelted via Trans-Canada Air Lines, to Bermuda, for their honeymoon trip. The bride departed in a navy-blue, silk suit, with white blouse; and a navy-blue, pill-box hat; and had a white orchid corsage. They will reside at Do-herty Graduate House, at Carnegie Technical School, in Pittsburgh, Pa., where Mr. Lempel will teach while taking a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics. Here from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Lempel, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Sapsnick, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Marcus; all of New York; Mrs. Milton Lampel, of Mexico City, Mexico; Jack Martin, of Tenafly, N.
