The marriage of M tea Marlene Rhoda Spevack, daughter of Mr. and Mr*. Jo*eph Spevack, 6180 Barclay Avehuei to Michael Soroka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sioel Soroka, 1680 Van Home Avenue, was solemnised at Beth Hamedrash Hagadol Synagogue, on September 2, at sit o'clock, by Rabbi Lester B. Rosner, assisted by Cantor M. Kaufler. The bride was given, in marriage by her father. She was gowned in white lace and peau de soie, made with a fitted bodice; long sleeves; and full skirt. Her veil of tulle illusion was draped to a crown of seed-pearl-beads; and she carried a prayer book adorned with white orchids and stephano-tis. Mrs. Barry Maryles, sister of the groom, aa matron of honour wore a blue, pean de soie gown, with full skirt; also a matching headdress; and carried a cascade of blue and pink carnations. Misses Esther and Marcia Soroka, sisters of the groom, were bridesmaids, the former wearing a pink peau de sole gown; and the latter in a blue peau de soie gown; with full skirts. Their headdresses matched their gowns; and they carried semi-cascades of pink and white carnations. Marcia Barrett, and Noreen Weisberg, both aged nine
Sjars, cousins of the bride, were ower-girls, dressed alike in pink organza party dresses; with head matching bandeaux; and carried nosegays of pink carnations; Bar-ry Maryles was his brother-in-law's best man. The ushers were: Philip Soroka, Ben. Soroka. broth, ers of the groom; Arnold Spevack, brother of the bride; Joseph Ber-covitch, Ben. Kleiner, and Charles Shuster. Gordon Frank, cousin of the bridejjwas page boy. Pink and white carnations, roses, and gladioli were the wedding flowers. Lenny Rubin and his orchestra played the wedding music, A reception followed for one hundred and seventy guests, in tie Synagogue hall. Mrs. Spevack, mother of the bride, was in a blue peau de soie gown; made with short sleeves; and full skirt; with ,a hat of the same shade. Mrs. Soroka, mother of the groom, wore a blue peau de soie gown which had a high neck-line; long sleeves; and full skirt; with a hat of that material. Each had a corsage of white carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Soroka spent their wedding trip in New York. They have taken up residence at 4850 Courtrai Street. Mr. and Mrs. Barry Maryles, of Chicago, 111., brother-in-law and sister of tiie groom; and Mrs. I. Miller, of New York, cousin of the groom, were here for the marriage.

Bender, and Mjsa Marilyn Goodman, sisters of the bride, were matron of honour, and maid. of honour, respectively. Each wore a gown of orange-coloureq peau de soie, with beaded bodice; and pleated, bouffant skirt;'a matching, embroidered crown: and carried orange and green-tinted rosebud nosegays. The bridesmaids were: Misses Marion, and Diane Goodman, of Buffalo, N. Y.; and Phyllis Sonenberg; cousins of the bride; Tammy Severn, and Paula Berg. Each wore a gown of Kelly-green peau de soie, with bouffant skirt; and ChantUly lace jacket; also a matching pill-box hat; and carried a nosegay of green and gold-tinted rosebuds. Miriam Horowitz, cousin of the bride, was flbwer girl, Wearing a dress of mint-green chiffon; also a flowered tiara of green and red rosebuds; and carried a basket of rose petals. Sam. Zweig, brother of the-groom, was best man. The ushers were: Brian Bender, brother-in-law of the bride; Sheldon, and Marvin Horowitz; and Sheldon Sonenberg; cousins of the bride; Allen Price, and William Schnoll. Allan Goodman, of Buffalo, N.
