Bowling
Mr. J. A. Landsberg reports that the bowling tournament is well under way. A very marked interest is being shown by the various clubs.
Billiards
The billiard tournament is to take the form of an elimination contest, the following clubs having entered teams to compete in the tournament: Memoph, Orions, Lits Srs., Lits Jrs., Herzl and the Y.M.H.A. The winner of the billiard tournament will be in possession of the Perkins Trophy.
Basketball
The interclub basketball tournament for the Granatstein Trophy is being well contested, each club expecting to win the trophy. The results of Saturday night's games were: Balfour vs. D'Arcy, postponed. Felix vs. Herzl, Felix won by a score of 30 to 28. Lits Srs. vs. Lits Jrs., the Jrs. won by a score of 20 to 9.
Mr. Geo. Lister announces that there will be a basketball dance in the near future.
Mr. M. Brodey is organizing a business men's basketball team*. Watch the fun!
Mr. Landsberg and Mr. Lister are arranging a banquet within two weeks for the championship basketball team.
Hockey
For the first time in the history of Toronto Jewry, a Jewish hockey league has been formed, including most of the Jewish athletic clubs of this city, under the supervision of Mr. Harry Freeman. The name of this league is The Y.M.H.A. Hockey League. There seem3 to be more enthusiasm shown in this new sport than was at first anticipated. The following clubs are entered: Am-phions, Phoenix, Herzt, D'Arcy, Memoph, Balfours, Lits Srs., Lits. Jrs. Three games were played Last week. The easy victory of the Arnphion team over the unpractised team ' of the Phoenix is spurring the Latter team to more practice so they can make a better showing in the next game against the Lits Jrs, The D'Arcy dub found it hard to score more than one goal against the aggressive Lits Srs,, but one goal can win a gr je, they say. The Balfour team were not so sure of victory when in the middle of the game the score was 3 to 1 in favor of their opponents, but proved the better team when they nniAhed off by a score erf 5 to 4 in their favor. The* game wu, very interesting and well worth teeinf.
If you have nothing to do on Sunday evening just come down to the "Y club-rooms. You will be aurprisedto see how many young people ar^ playing* the old game of checkers. .One is lucky to get a chance to play one game a night, The checkers are in such great demand that many of the members are satisfied in seeing someone else play the game. A checker tournament should be drawn up to see who are the best. There are quite a number who think they are unassailable.

Notwithstanding the much-talked-of depression in trade, the Salada Tea Company had an increase in 1921 of two million and one-third, making their total output over eleven million five hundred and ninety-six thousand pounds. If these packets were all placed in line, end touching end, they would stretch for two thousand one hundred and ninety-six miles.
