Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Bhereur, 4755 St. Kevin Avenue, gaye_a dinner party with forty guests at their home to honour the engagement of their daughter, Miss Suzanne Marcia Bhereur, to David Lee Sennabaum, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Sennabaum, of Clay-mpnt, Delaware. Mrs. Bhereur wore a black silk dress: made with three-quarter-length sleeves, and an A-line skirt. Mrs. Sennabaum wore a green and black printed silk sheath; having short sleeves. Miss Suzanne Marcia Bhereur wore a black crepe blouson dress. The table was decorated with a white and red inscribed cake; and arrangements of red and white carnations. Here for the occasion were his parents; and Misses Joyce and Barbara Sennabaum, sisters of the groom-to-be.
Mr. and Mrs. Issie Fine, 5240 Van Home Avenue, gave a luncheon with fifty guests at the Stage Coach Inn, to celebrate the sixteenth birthday of their daughter, Jody; sister of Mrs. Sydney Scholl (Rosalie), 368 One Hundredth Avenue, Chomedey; and of Mrs. Jack Weiser (Golda), 4711 Plamondon Avenue. Mrs. Fine wore a black wool sheath, having a V-neckline, and three-quarter-length sleeves. Mrs. Scholl was in a blue and white wool sheath dress, with a round neckline; and short sleeves. Mrs. Weiser wore a red wool dress, having a round neckline; three - quarter - length sleeves; and pleated skirt. Each had a corsage of red and white carnations. Jody was in a red wool dress, having a round neckline, and short sleeves; and flared skirt; with white and red carnations. A pink and white birthday cake, and white and red carnations, were used to decorate.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Budman, 4987 Mackenzie Street, entertained sixty-five guests at a luncheon to celebrate the sixteenth birthday of their daughter, Phyllis. She is the sister of Reuben and Abie Budman; and of Miss Shirley Budman. Mrs. Budman wore a beige silk sheath, having a round neckline and short sleeves. Her corsage was of white and red carnations. Miss Shirley Budman was in a white and gold-coloured silk dress; having a jewelled neckline, and an A-line skirt.
