Abramovitch�Tessler
A pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and MrsrM. Tessler, Stella Avenue, on Tuesday, June 19th, at one o'clock, when their eldest daughter, Belle Clarice, was united in marriage to Lawrence Ahramovich, son of Mr. H./ Abramovich, Los Angeles, CaL, formerly of Winnipeg. Rev. Kahano-Vitch officiated and during the signing of the register, Miss Madge Barrett sang "Because." The bride-who was given in marriage by her father, entered the drawing-room to the strains of the bridal march from Lohengrin rendered by the orchestra in attendance, and and was met by the. bridegroom and his groomsman, Mr. Harry Finkelman. She looked charming in a gown of white canton crepe, daintily draped at each side and her veil of tulle was very prettily .arranged and caught with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of bridal roses and lilies-of-the-valley. She was attended by her sister, Miss Edith Tessler, who. wore a gown of peach-colored georgette crepe, heavily beaded, and carried American beauty roses. Mrs. M, Tessler, mother of the bride, was gowned in blue kumsi-kumsa silk, combined with blue canton crepe, and she wore a corsage of red roses. Mrs. A. Slobinsky, aunt of the bridegrojom, wore a black sequin gown and a large model mohair hat. She wore a corsage of pink roses. Mrs, Charles Finkelman, also an aunt, .wore a gown of brown velvet, brocaded georgette, and;a corsage of red-roses. Following the ceremony a reception was held, the rooms being beautifully decorated with a profusion of flowers and smilax, Later the bride slipped away to don her travelling attire, a smart suit of blue poiret twill, with ajacquette effect, a grey taffeta model hat, suede shoes to match and a Hudson sable choker completed her costume. .
The happy couple lett on the Sop line en route to Minneapolis and Chicago, and on their return will reside in Winnipeg. The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Finkelman, Misses Gertrude and Yetta Finkelman, Messrs. Harry and Max Finkelman, West Selkirk, Man., Mrs. P. A. Isaacs, Melfort, Sask., and Mr. Harry Finkelman, Prince Albert, Sask.
Taitalman�Luginsky
A pretty wedding took place Sunday, June 17, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elick Luginsky, Alfred Avenue, when their daughter Lily, was united in marriage to Nathan Taitalman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Taitalman, Alfred Avenue. Rabbi Kahanovitch officiated. The bride was attended by Misses Lea Golden, and Clara Portigal. Mr. Max Taitalman acted as best man. After the ceremony, dinner'.was served to about one hundred guests. The tables were beautifully decorated with early summer flowers. Later Mr. and Mrs. Taitalman left for a six weeks' trip to Minneapolis and New York, returning by way of Eastern Canada, to make their home at Moose Horn, Man.

Her bridal veil was artistically caught at the sides with clusters of orange blossoms, and was very prettily embroidered in Hly-of-the-valley design. She carried a shower bouquefruf sweetheart roses and lilies-of-the-vaHey. Her only attendant was her sister who acted as matron of honor, wearing a dove grey georgette crepe gownr having centre crystal pleated, planels and side panels-inset with russet shade and silver embroidery, the coloring being carried out with a silver girdle with motifs of blue and Vusset design^ A large black hat completed her costume and she carried Ophelia roses. The groom was attended by the bride's brother, Mr. Max Gardner. The groom's gift to the bride was ,a handsome platinum watch set with diamonds; to the matron of honor, a gold fountain pen; to the best man, gold .cuff links; and to Miss Tritt, a string of pearls. After .the ceremony, a dainty wedding breakfast was served to about thirty guests. The tables were ; prettily decorated with roses, carnations and smilax, the centre decoration being , a mound of flowers and fern. After the usual speeches and good wishes of the guests were given, the bride slipped away to don a charming three-piece suit of a combination of tan tanton crepe and brown, silk knit crepe. She wore a brown felt hat, embroidered in blending shades and shoes to match, and.a stone martin neck-piece completed her outfit. Dr. and Mrs. Freid lefVfor two months' trip, visiting the principal cities of the Eastern States and Canada. Mrs. Joseph Gardner, mother of the bride, was gowned in black chantilly lace over pussy willow satin, the lace being artistically draped and caught at one side with a handsome girdle of jet. She wore a corsage bouquet of American beauty-roses and a large black hat. Mrs. Charles Schacter, aunt of the bride, wore a becoming gown of black canton crepe,heavily-beaded, and a smart .black and white hat; The out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schacter, of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mr. and Mrs. H. Zieses of Detroit, Mich.
