Rabbi Harry Cohen of New York, officiated at the services held in the King Kdward Avenue Synagogue on Tuesday arid Wednesday of this week in commemoration of the advent of the Jcwfsh New.Vear of 56S4.
Rabbi Cohen graduated with honors from the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York, .in 1919 and holds also a diploma in philosophy from Columbia University, New York. He. has been Rabbi of a large congregation in Cleveland, Ohio, ;and after retiring from this charge he went to Europe and spent two years i n post -graduate study at the seats of Hebrew leajnihg there.
