Sunday School committee gave details of the past \ear's activities and inrdoing so, Rabbi Siimuel showed an average attendance of about ISO children each week. He stated tliat four of the former teachers had [eft to devote their energies to the Sunday School of the Fort Rouge Congregation, two others had left, one of whom has left the city and (he.ot'hcr owing to her approaching marriage, but they have all been replaced. He is taking the senior class, the members of which average 15 years ot age.. . . � >
The Sisterhood merited the thanks of the Congregation and of the community .at large for their activities in Jewish, welfare, devoting'a large: part of th.cir time to beautifying the interior of the Synagogue, visiting the sick, and the juvenile Court. The cemetery, committee showed the vast improvements that have been made in the property under their care and were highly complimented on the results. They gave their financial report and plated that a large sum of money was still necessary to complete.t lie undertaking-, which is under the direct sujx^rvision of Professor Slough-ton, the -leading authority on landscape gardening. The treasurer of this committee "made an urgent appeal .for the amount necessary to complete the work.
