: The Montefiore .Club has opened; its fall season and the first social activity .took place Sunday evening, Sept: 30th, when: a large number of members and their lady friends assembled to participate in an enjoyable whist drix-e and dance which Mr. M. Morgan stern, chairman of the entertainment committee, assisted by .Mr. J. Chariton, had. arranged. Following cards, dancing took place, for which a splendid orchestra under the leadership of Mr. Harry Stein, provided the music The card prizes were won by Mrs. Salvin and Mr. I.

New York, which supervises Y.M.H.A; and Y.W.H.A, work in Canada and the .-United States, the meeting went on record as favouring a revival of interest in the Winnipeg organization, and instructed the executive to go into way?, and means!
Mr. Wiseman is..travelling across the continent, advising local Y.M.H.A.'s and raising funds for the work-generally.
