The marriage of Miss Bernetta Schaffer, daughter of M. Schaffer, of Blackville, N.B., to Shea Guttman, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Guttman, of Chatham, Ontario, was solemnized, Sunday, January 31, in the ballroom of the Mount Royal Hotel, Rabbi Berger officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white crepe studded with rhinestones. Her veil of silk net was arranged in cap effect with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies-of-the-valley. The maid of honour Miss Lena Kiermeyer, wore a gown of green georgette, with tulle hat to match, and carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. The bridesmaids were Misses Rebecca Franklin, in white georgette; Anna Gilbert, pink georgette; Rose Winter, peach georgette; Jane �Schaffer, pink georgette, with gold lace trimmings. They also wore tulle hats to match their gowns, and carried bouquets of American Beauty roses. The best man was Joseph Guttman. The groomsmen were Philip Meyero-vitch, Abe Solomon, Harry Bacal and Simon Guttman. The ushers were Chas. and Samuel Bacal, Harry Kiermeyer, Samuel, Burman, Myer and

Both carried baskets of roses, sweet peas and carnations. The ring-bearer was Alvin Guttman, in a Lord Fauntel-roy suit. The gifts to the maid of honour and bridesmaids were bracelets with monograms, and to the best man and groomsmen cigarette cases. The wedding march was played by Max ScharTer, during the benediction which was given by Rabbi Julius Berger. A violin solo, "0 Promise Me," was played by Eddie Gross, accompanied by Max Shaffer. Supper was served in the ballroom to three hundred guests, Mr. and Mrs. Shea Guttman left for New York. Atlantic City, Washington and V in eland, X.J., and will live in Chatham, Ontario. The marriage of Sophie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Morgen. to Simon Rothman, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Rothman, was solemnized at the Bnai Jacob Synagogue, Rabbi Julius Berger officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white satin gown, trimmed with real lace.

Her bouquet was of roses and lilies, with shower of lilies-of-the-valley and babies' breath, The maid of honour was Miss Annie Morgen, who wore a pink taffeta gown with gold ribbon trimmings, and a large hat of pink tulle to match. She carried a colonial bouquet of Ophelia roses. The bridesmaids were Misses Lilly Borrin, in powder blue georgette; Molly Dancovitch, powder georgette; Annie Sandier, old rose georgette; Lily Emelfarb, ashes of rose Canton crepe, and Nettie Solomon, of New York, niece of the groom, white georgette, beaded in rhinestones. They all carried bouquets of Ophelia roses. The flower girls were EttieRothman, in powder blue georgette, and Lilly Weiss, of Ottawa, in a powder blue georgette frock, with rosebud crown. _ Both carried baskets of narcissi and tulips, The page boy was Hyman Steirman: who wore a black velvet suit. The best man was Meyer Solomon. The groomsmen were A. Katz, M. Morgen, N. Frank, R. Feldman and H, Block. The bride's mother wore an orchid Canton crepe gown with corsage of Ophelia roses. A supper was served for four hundred and fifty guests, Mr. and Mrs. S. Rothman left for New York, Philadelphia and Atlantic City, and will live in Montreal. An exhibition of the Charleston was given by Miss Mary Steirman and the tango was danced by Miss Solomon, The out-of-town guests included Mrs. B. Solomon, of New York; Mrs. Y. Weiss, of Ottawa; Mrs, J. Greenberg,Shirley Bernstein, of Toronto; and Miss Nettie Solomon, of New York.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs, M. Maron, to Isidore, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Bobrove, was solemnized Sunday, January 31, at the Mount Roval Hotel, Rabbi Berger officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white crepe romaine, studded with rhinestones and sequins. Her veil of silver lace was arranged in cap effect with rhinestones and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses, lilies-of-the-valley, and babies'( breath. Miss Esther Maron, sister of the bride, was maid of honour in white georgette, trimmed with rhinestones and ostrich feathers, and carried a bouquet of sweetheart roses. Bernard Sigler was best man. The bridesmaids were Misses Goldie Maron, in apple-green georgette; Sarah Levine, lavender georgette; Bess Shapiro, orchid georgette; and Regina Weiner, coral georgette. All carried bouquets of tea roses. The ushers wei e Dave Cahanna, Sydney SchaefFer, A. Cooper and Lionel Maron. The flowei girls. Bernice Maron and Goldie Shapiro, in old-fashioned costumes of pale blue flowered taffeta, carried baskets of narcissi and sweet peas. The page boys were Boris Shapiro and Boris Levine, both in Little Lord Fauntelroy suits.
