Blostein�Ivry
The marriage of Leah Ivry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Ivry, to Moses Bloatein, was solemnized Sunday, February 7, at New Adath Jeshurun Synagogue, Rabbi Julius Berber officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white satin crepe, trimmed with lace and white flowers. Her veil of silk net was arranged in cap effect with clusters of orange blossoms and crown of rhine-stones. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies, roses, lilies-of-the-valley and carnations. The matron of honour was Mrs. J. J. Marks, of Ottawa, who wore peach georgette, combined with metallic cloth. She carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses. The best man was J. J. Marks. The mother of the bride wore a black cut velvet gown, with corsage of American Beauty roses. A reception was held at the home of the bride, 1658 Hutchison Street, for seventy-five guests. Mr. and Mrs. Moses Blostein will live in Mpntreal. The out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Marks, Maurice Marks, Miss Anne Golub and Mr, and Mrs. L. Blostein, all of Ottawa; and Mrs. R. L. Staviss, of New York.
Chorney�Loewenstein
Miss Eleanor Loewenstein, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Louis C. Loewenstein, 180 Riverside Drive, New York, and John B. Chorney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Chorney, were married Wednesday, February 3, at the Hotel Commodore, by Dr, Stephen S. Wise and Dr, David de Sola Pool. A reception and dinner to one hundred and fifty guests followed. The bride's father gave her away. Mrs. William Weiscopf, of Philadelphia, a sister of the bride, was matron of honour, and the other attendants were Misses Carolyn Marx, Gertrude Rosenbaum, Ruth Rosen-berger and Rose Schwartz, of New York; Jennie Chorney and Esther Levy, of Montreal. Miss Elsa Loewenstein, of Philadelphia, was flower girl. Melvin Chorney, brother of the ?room, was best man. Ushers were Leo Brown and Ben Singer, of New York; Peter Usher, Gene Kruger, A. Wigdor and M. Silver, of Montreal. Mr. and Mrs. J. Chorney will live in Montreal on their return from a month's wedding trip south.
Amdur�Amdur
The wedding of Miss Minnie Amdur, daughter of the late Mr. N. Amdur and of Mrs. Amdur, to Frank Amdur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Amdur, of New York, took place at the home of the bride's mother. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Jacob H. Amdur, was gowned in ivory crepe Elizabeth. Her veil was draped in coronet style with a wreath of orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of Columbia roses and lilies-of-the-valley, Her only attendant was Miss Belle Amdur, sister of the groom, maid of honour, who wore a shaded blue georgette gown and carried American Beauties. Leon Amdur, of Belgium, brother of the bride, was best man. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Berger, assisted by Rev. de la Penha. Mr. and Mrs. Amdur left later for an extended honeymoon to the Orient, and on their return will live in New York Citv.

I. Colle, Hutchison Street, bridge and miscellaneous shower; Mrs. H. Rudy, bridge and personal shower at the Edinburgh Cafe; Mrs. A. Taylor, de 1'Epee Avenue, pyjama party; Miss A. Rosenbaum, Hutchison Street, bridge and tea, at which a tea service was presented to Miss Struser by those present. Mrs. R, Ness, Hutchison Street, entertained the bridal party at a bridge and evening.
Among those who entertained in honour of Miss Mollie Maron, a bride-elect of January 31, were Miss Bertha Bobrove, surnrise miscellaneous shower, December 13; Mesdames H. Silverman and L. Magonet, bridge and linen shower, December 20; Mrs, M. Shapiro and Miss Bess Shapiro, bridge and personal shower, January 3; Miss Anne Strean, evening, January 11; Miss Regina Weiner, musicale and crystal shower, January 7; Miss Esthei Marpn, formal supoer and dance at the Venetian Gardens, January 16.
The Misses Kirsh pave a miscellaneous shower, honouring their sister, Regina, whose marriaee to Al Kaplan takes place this month. The rooms were decorated with wedding bells and streamers and the quests were presented with souvenirs. Among those present were Misses Bess Friedland. Gottlieb, and Mr, and Mrs. Holtz, formerlv of Toronto.
