The marriage of Miss Rebecca Lazarus, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Latarus, to Max Ain, of Athens, Ont,, took place March 7 at the Annex Hall, Rabbi Julius Berger and Rev. H. Rotblatt officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white georgette beaded with rhincftones. Her veil ofsilk net was arranged in cap effect with clusters of orange blossoms and she carried a shower Douquet of roses and madonna lilies. Miss Sadye Atcovtich was madi-of-honour, in a gown of white georgette embroidered in silver. She carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. Eliah Ain, of Kingston, brother of the groom, was beat man. The bridesmaids were: Misses Reba Gross, Minnie Richer, Mary Mosco-vitch, Goldie and Ray Arlin, Sarah Ain, Ray Leavitt, Sarah Bercovitch and Gertrude Teach, all wearing gowns in pastel shades and carrying bouquets of American Beauty roses and carnations. Groomsmen were: Max Rothman, Joe Richer, Lyon Laiarus, Saul Atcovitch, Joe Rubin, Philip Grossman, Abe Katr, Sam I^auer and Israel Bercovitch. The flower girls were Evelyn Yancovitch and Annie Ain, in frocks of mairc^g�orgette, who carried baskets of rose petals. Kenneth Ain, in a Tuxedo suit, was ring-bearer. Mrs. Latarus, mother of the bride, wore a gown of black satin-face Canton with corsage of American Beauty roses. Dinner was served to about 350 guests. Among the out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Ain, of Elgin, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. David Ain, of Smith's Falls, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ryan, Eliah Ain, Miss Goldie Arlin, Sam Arlin, of Kingston, Ont.; George Lee, of Athens, Ont.; Mrs. H. Harrison, of New York City; Mr. and Mrs. Max Haymovitz and daughter Sylvia, of Amityville, L.I.; and Mr. and Mrs. X. F. Schwartz and children of Win field, L.I.
The gifts to the bridal attendants at the Finklestein-Tannenbaum wedding were: to the bride, a diamond and platinum shoulder pin; to the maid-of-honour a gold fountain pen; to the bridesmaids, Peter*Pan fountain pens with ribbon to match; to the best, man a white gold watch chain; to the groomsmen, initialed cigarette cases; and to the train-bearer and ring-bearer, ruby-set rings.

Miriam Dower Chapter met Monday afternoon, March 15, at the home cf Mrs. H. Ralph, 2759 Hutchison Street, Mrs. M. Eyges presiding.
