RABBI FRIEDLANDER DIES
Rev, Dr. Elias Friedlander, retired rabbi and Hebrew scholar, died at Vancouver, aged seventy-eight years. Vohl Gerlunder, of Vancouver, officiated at the Jewish cemetery. Dr. Friedlander leaves two daughters, Mrs. Franken-burg, of Vancouver, and Miss Clara Alice Friedlander, of London, England, and two sens, Leopold Friedlander, journalist, cf Philadelphia, and Abraham Friedlander, a photographer, in New York. Born in Russia, the late Dr. Friedlander left his native Land at the age of ten years, and went to Germany, where he stayed and carried out his studies for his career. He was ordained at the age of twenty-three years. He was appointed rabbi of the synagogue at Sunderlmd, England. Leaving this poet he went to Kingstrn, Jamaica, and staged at the West Indian post for four years. Faber�Glickman
The marriage of Miriam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Glickman, to Lewis Faber, was solemnized Wednesday, March 2, at 4 p.m., at the bride's home, 328 Redfem Avenue, Rabbi Herman Abramowitz and Rabbi H. Cohen officiating. The house was decorated with spring flowers and smilax. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white georgette embroidered in geld thread and silver beads. Her veil of tulle was embroidered and arranged in cap effect and trimmed with wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of orchids and lilies-of-the-valley. The maid-of-honour Miss Beatrice Glickman, wore a beaded orchid georgette gown, with satin shoes to match and carried a bouquet of Premier roses. Harry' Benjamin was best man. Mrs. P. Glickman, mother of the bride, wore a French lace gown, over black velvet and corsage of deep pink roses. A reception was held at 7 o'clock for 350 guests. Mr. and Mrs. LewiB Faber sailed from New York for Havana, Cuba, where they will spend their honeymoon.

Mrs. Sarah Vine berg died in her seventy-second year at her home, 2 Dulutn Avenue East; she was the wife of the late Samuel Vineberg.. Funeral Thursday at 2.30 p.m. from the home. Services during the week at her daughter's, Mrs. Charles Samit, 15 Church Hill Avenue, Wsatmount. Mrs. Vineberg is survived bv two daughters, Mrs. Charles Samit, of Montreal, and Mrs. Hiram Adilman, of Los Angeles, two sods, H. A. Vineberg and T. L. Vineberg, both of Montreal; twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Vineberg .was the youngest daughter of the late Lewis Albert, who died at the age of 107 years. She was the mother of the late Bells Wener and oi the late Solomon Vineberg, who was head of the Scottish Rubber Company.
