Over 300 guests attended the Jewish National Workers'Alliance annual Purim masquerade ball at Talmud Torah Hall. Most of those present were in costume. Miss L. Zegulnick, as the Indian princess, was awarded first prize; Miss Dinah Wineberg, as a Spanish girl, won the second prize, and Mrs, M. Liberman, in a costume named the "Garden of Eden," third prize.
