Secrets of magiciansfrom fire-eating to card tricksare revealed in the Houdini library of 5,000 volumes now being unpacked and classified by the Library of Congress of Washington. Books and manuscripts of the greatest magicians, bequeathed to the Government, will carry on the work of Houdini of exposing frauds and trickery among mediums. Many tricks which Houdini's volumes show to be thousands of years old are still being used to-day, and the modern public views them with as much amazement as did the ancients.
