Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dardick (nee Molly Schwartz), 4740 Plamondon Street, celebrated their thirty-third wedding anniversary. They have a son, and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. I. Dardick, 1090 Mill Hill Street; two sons-in-law, and daughters: Mr. and Mrs, Bram Vatch, 1917 Emanuel Street; and Mr. and Mrs. David Silverman, 660 Brunet Street, two grandchildren: Mark Garrie, aged five years; and Rena Ellen, two, children of Mr. and Mrs. Bram Vatch.
Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Rost, of Miami, Florida, were honoured at a dinner dance, With seventy-five guests present, at the RiU-Carl-ton Hotel, given by his brother-in-law, and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Bronfman, 609 Carleton Avenue, in honour of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They have a son, Leo Rost, of London, England; and a son-in-law, and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Paley, of Providence, Rhode Island; three granddaughters: Miss Joan Rost; and Sandra, and Linda Rost, twins. Mrs, Rost has a brother-in-law. and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ellis, of Toronto. Ont. Mrs. Rost wore a gold-coloured, lace sheath, set over matching satin, which had a round neckline; with a corsage of gold-coloured orchids. The table was beautified with a centrepiece of gold-coloured gladioli, daisies, and a gold-coloured wedding cake. Here for the celebration were the above; and: Mr. and Mrs. Jack Butler, of New York; Mr. and Mrs. S. Berns. of Boston. Mass.; and Dr. and Mrs. A. E. Brunswick, of Philadelphia, Pa.; all sons-in-law and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Bronfman; and Mrs. Goldie Marrow, of New York, a cousin.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller, 5818 Westluke Street, entertained at a week-end at their country home, in Lac Chaud, at La Macaxa, Quebec, in celebration of their twenty* fourth wedding anniversary. Thev have two sons; Harold Leslie Miller, and Stephen Malcolm Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. David Gilsig, 3101 Maplewood Avenue, and their sons, and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rubin Gilsig, 1051 Mac-Donald Avenue; and Mr. and Mrs. Nat Gilsig, 549 One Hundred and First Avenue, entertained seventy-five guests at two evenings at the formers' home, in honour of their son, Tobias Gilsig, who will spend two years at the Imperial College, in London, England, on an Ath-lone Fellowship, furthering his education in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Gilsig is a graduate of McGill Universitv, in the Faculty of Engineering. Here for the party was Abe Dworkin, of New York, brother of Mrs. David Gilsig.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Lazanik (nee Sarah Pressman), 4970 Maplewood Avenue, were honoured at a dinner dance, with one hundred guests present, at Herzl Hall, given by their children, in honour of their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
