Mrs. Diamond, wearing a gown of gold metallic cloth, with a corsage of American Beauty roses, was assisted in receiving by her daughter, who wore a white beaded frock and carried tea roses, and by Miss Bessie Elkin, in a gown of gold lace with a bouquet of pink roses. The house was decorated with palms, greenery, and cut blooms, with smilax and red carnations as table decorations.
