AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE FOR LATVIAN JEWS .
The Latvian Ministry of Agriculture is about to submit to Parliament' a plan for the establishment of a Jewish Agricultural School in that country. The plan provides for a two-year course in the school, with a third year devoted to practical training at gardening, cattle-breeding or dairy farming. The Government is to subsidize the school, but additional funds will be needed for the purchase of livestock and the establishment of a students' home, and it is hoped that assistance will be forthcoming from the Joint Distribution Committee and the lea.
