A Pretty SkinWomen's Heritage
To possess a pretty skin should be every woman's ambition. Oily skin produces hideous blackheads which reappear unless properly taken care of.
We treat this ill with a specially created massage and a lotion which in most cases prevents them from reappearing.

devoid of the slightest qualification, of any reference to particular circumstances, is wilfully to lead astray one's readers.
It is equally surprising to find that A.B.B. who, very much in error, attemptsto point out an illogicalityinthe Rabbi's editorial, should himself commit a gross error in reasoning. If, as Rabbi Isserman stated, the children of the orthodox Moses Mendelsohn left Judaism because they could not be inspired by the ritualistic demands of the old faith, it clearly follows, according to A.B.B., that since Moses Mendelsohn's parents were also orthodox, Moses too should have left Judaism. This is indeed a brilliant deduction! If A.B.B. will consult any beginner's book on logic he will observe that it is he, and not Rabbi Isserman, who has committed the fallacy of an undistributed middle.
Yours truly,

EDITOR, CANADIAN JEWISH REVIEW:
In his editorial in the June 15 number of your magazine, A.B.B. takes issue with certain statements made by Rabbi Isserman in the latter's editorial (June 1) on Moses Mendelsohn.
A.B.B.'s mode of refutation is indeed curious. He appears to be a follower of the celebrated Alfonso da Liguori, according to whom certain types of equivocation were permissible because "then we do not deceive our neighbour, but allow him to deceive himself." In the hands of A.B.B., Rabbi Isserman's statements are given an accent and a bias which, I believe, were never intended. For instance, Rabbi Isaerman wrote:
"Ours is the conviction that the wholesale defalcation from Judaism which took place in Germany in the latter part of the nineteenth century could have been minimized if there had been a vigorous reform movement, which could have reconciled for the intellectual Judaism and modern thought."
In re-stating this for his readers, A.B.B. ascribes to Rabbi Isserraan the conviction that "Orthodoxy leads to th Church." To draw from the Rabbi's editorial auch a enl cooclwoc,
