Sisterhood get-together meeting was held last Sunday- afternoon in the Lecture Hall of the Temple. Mrs. Arthur Simon gave a scriptural readying. Mrs. J. N. Neumann is chair-lady of the program committee. Rabbi Stern spoke. Miss Dorothy Kaplan gave a dramatic reading, Miss Johnson and Miss Enzer were on the musical program. Mrs. G. Flschel recited a poem which she wrote welcoming each new member of the Sisterhood by name. Social hour. In the absence of Mrs. Arthur Simon, the president, who has left for California, Mrs. H. W. Robinson will be In charge of the flower fund. The joint Sisterhood-Brotherhood meeting will be held in March. The play, "A Social Duty" will be given.

The Chamisb.0 Osor Bahvat program to be given by the children of the Religious School February 9th, will include h playlet, songs, recitations, a dance, and a moving picture on "Spring in Palestine", suppliel through the Jewish National Fund. A Palestine Tree Fund Campaign Is being conducted by the Religious School, with the slogan "A Tree i i Palestine for Every Child". A special study of Palestine is being mad*� in each class. More than sixty children will participate in the "Purim Shpiel" a comic operetta under the direction of Joseph Gordon.
The Executive Committee of the Junior Congregation will present awards to boys and girls attaining a high attendance record at the Junior Sabbath Services this season. Arthur Bloomfield, chairman of the Membership Committee, is in charge of the attendance records. The School Paper will appear February 9th, as a Chamisho Osor Bahvat number. Mrs. Auerbach read aT monthly financial report Mrs. Heitxig, of Montreal Hadassah, was speaker. Mrs. S. Kober-nick won the raffle. Tea netted $4^5. Mrs. Heitsig thanked the hostess. North End Chapter held a bridge at the home ot Mrs. S. Segal, Old Orchard Avenue. Mrs. N. Auerbach presented Mrs. M. Machlovitch with a cushion on her ninth wedding anniversary. Mrs. N. Black donated 310. on the occasion of the marriage of her daughter. The raffle, a cushion, was won by Mrs. H. Axelrod. and netted 337.10. Mrs. L. Matthews thanked the hostess.
