The marriage of Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Swltzer, Euclid Avenue, to Normanr son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Appel, Major Street, took place on October 19th, at the home of Rabbi Samuel Sachs who officiated. Roy Gudof-sky. uncle of the bride, played the wedding music. The bride, given In marriage by her father, wore a blue crepe suit with pink sequins, and matching hat, and carried a white bible with orchids and streamers. Mrs. A. Frohman was matron of honor in a blue dress with a corsage of Tea roses. Peter Levine, cousin of the groom, acted as best man. "At a reception .which followed at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Switzer received in a black dress with gold sequins, and corsage of Tea roses; the groom's mother in black crepe with a corsage of red roses. The couple left on a wedding trip to Montreal and Ottawa and will live in Toronto. For going away the bride wore a tweed suit with brown accessories. Out-of-town guests were: Mrs. M. The marriage of Leola, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Herman, 274 Augusta Avenue, to Irving, son of Mr, and Mrs: Charles Rosenstein, of Peterson, NJ., took place on October 19th, at Men of England Synagogue, Rabbi A. Langer and Rabbi A. Steinberg officiating. The bride was given In marriage by her parents. Her gown was of white en^broUerad satin jsafsls with high n*e*fis*, tocto waist, line, long train, and leg o" mutton sleeves. Her shoulder-length veil of tulle illusion fell from a tiara headdress and she carried a prayer book and bouquet of white Orchids and roses. Miss Mildred Herman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor in a pink embroidered satin gown, with a bouquet of roses. The bridesmaids were; Misses Annette Herman, in pink lace; Mildred Mintz, blue chiffon; Pearl Weinberg, wine colored embroidered satin; Goldie Rose, wine net; and June Freedman, of Peterson, N.J., blue satin, all carrying bouquets of roses and matching flowers in their hair. Stanley Rosenstein, brother of the groom, was best man, and the ushers were: Nathan Aronowitz, Arthur Rosenstein, ^ Stanley Alter, Sydney Goodman, and Harvey Wagman. The ring-bearer was Allan Wein-roth and Gloria Feiner was flower girl. At the-reception which followed, the bride's mother received in s gown of wine colored lace trimmed with silver, with black crepe skirt, and a corsage of red roses; the groom's mother, in a brick-colored crepe gown with a corsage of red roses. The couple left on a wedding trip to Ottawa, and will live in Englewood, NJ.

Her three-tiered finger-Up veil fell from a Queen Ettta-beth headdress sprinkled with seed pearls, and she carried a white bible with orchid and bouvanUa streamers. Miss Ruth Davidson, siste; of the bride, was maid of y^qpor in an ice-blue corded silk gowa. Lrostbaned with sfreer, with Juliet cap of matching material and veil of the same shade and she carried a nosegay of red roses, cornflowers and baby's breath. Jack Karmarner was best man. The bride's mother lecehed in a black crepe gown with bodice of lace, lined with shell pink, and a corsage of pink roses: with the groom's mother who wore black crepe trimmed with gold sequins, and s corsage of red roses.
