He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Off stein; a daughter, Miss Betsy Offatein, at home: a son, Frederick Austin, 650 Egiin-ton Avenue; and five sisters: Mrs. David Yaffe (Lillian), 3905 Bathurst Street; Mrs. Jack Braverman (Anne). 6<68 Lawrence Avenue; Mrs. Harry Wise (Rose), 3171 Bathurst Street; Mrs. Samuel Krivy (Belle), 3171 Bathurst Street; and Mrs. Freda Hayman, 3560 Bathurst Street. He was the brother of the late Mrs. Bessy Jaeger; and of the late Daniel Off-stein. Rabbi Albert Pappenheim officiated at the funeral services. Interment was at the Dawes Road Cemetery. Shiva was observed at home.
