Mr. and Mrs. David Aisenthal (nee. Sonia Dlin), 522 Creyier Street, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at a dinner dance, given by their children. Eighty guests were present. Mrs. Aisenthal wore a pale-blue, printed silk dress; with a corsage of white gardenias. A centrepiece of yellow, and white snapdragons, and carnations; was combined with a gold-coloured, and white cake , to adorn the table.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Schwartz, 4545 St. Kevin Street, celebrated the bar-mitzvah of their son, William, who was called to the Reading of the Law, at Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue. He is the grandson of Moses^ Edelstein, of Tel Aviv, Israel, who was here for the celebration, and the late Mrs. Bertha Edelstein; and of the late (-Mr. arid Mrs. Wigdor Schwartz', of Rumania. Kiddush was observed. Afterwards Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz were luncheon hosts to two hundred guests. Mrs. Schwartz wore an off-white lace ensemble; with a matching hat.
