of near-white tulle illusion, was arranged with a crown of pearls and rhines tones, and she carried a white Bible with white orchids and ribbon shower of smaller white orchids. Doreen Schecter was her sister's maid of honor, in floor-length orchid-color duchess lace over taffeta, with a finger-tip veil of orchid-colored tulle illusion, caught up at each side with clusters of mixed flowers in pastel shades, and carried ar> arm bouquet of tri-colored gladioli. The bridegroom's niece, Joyce Blond, as junior bridesmaid, was in a turquoise-blue taffeta floor - length dress, poke bonnet of pink mohair in heart shape, with pink and blue streamers, and carried a nosegay of pastel-shaded autumn flowers. The bridegroom'* brother, F.O. Abraham Joseph Smith, R.-C.A.F., was best man, and the ushers were Gabriel Grossman, David Schecter, brother of the bride, Moses Edelstein, Benjamin Rot-blatt, Joseph Schecter, uncle of the bride, and Sidney Troster. The marriage of Hanna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Feigin,, of Tel Aviv, Palestine, to LAC Gordon M.( (Johnny) Udashkin, R.C.A.F., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Udashkin, Waverley Street, took place in Tel Aviv, on July 21. LAC Udashkin has been overseas for three years, and was stationed in Palestine for most of that time. LAC and Mrs. Udashkin are expected in Montreal shortly.

DEATHS
Lance-Corporal Peter Goldstein, aged twenty-two, R.C.E.M.E., who joined the Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps originally, has been reported killed overseas on September 3. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Walters Goldstein; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elkin Goldstein; one brother, Pte. Sol. Goldstein, stationed at Debert, N.S.; and two sisters, Mrs. I. Weshler and Miss Betty Goldstein, both of Montreal. Corporal Goldstein who was overseas for three years, married Miss Marie Walters, of London, England, where she is living at present. Shiva was at the home, 203 Prince Arthur Street East.

Karry Spinner, aged seventy-two, died on Wednesday, September 5. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Worthman Spinner; four daughters, Gertie, Mrs. A. Goldman, Lily, and Annie; one son, Lance Corporal Hyman Spinner, overseas; one grandchild, Ronald Goldman* and one sister, Mrs. S. Nagel. Funeral took place from Paperman's, Rabbi J. Twersky officiating. Burial was in Talner Congregation cemetery in Cartierville.

Flying Officer Jack Smith returned from overseas after two and a half years of active service in the British Isles and Iceland. His brother, F.O. Abraham Joseph Smith, returned home on V-J Day after eighteen months overseas. Their brother-in-iaw, Charles Blond, came home in June after five and a half years overseas, and was recently discharged.

Ab-ram Kirshner, originally of Poland and now hospitalized in Malmo, Sweden, who is seeking the whereabouts of his sister, Mrs, Lajb Glaser, in Montreal. To date we have been unable to locate Mrs. Glaser, and we would greatly appreciate it if you would kindly insert this in your publication, giving our address, 3416 McTavish Street, Montreal"
