Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a long white gewn of satin and net, made with a high neckline, long sleeves, low-cut bodice, and a full skirt, ending in a long train. Her tulle veil, which extended to the end of her train, fell from a headdress of white flowers, and she carried a bouquet of lilies. Miss Vicky Hogan, as maid of honor, wore a gold-colored gown of satin and net, designed with an off-the-shoulder neckline, and gold-colored band in her hair and veil, and carried a bouquet of roses. The bridesmaids, Misses Sel-ma Katz, sister of the bride, and Pearl Kimmel, wore pink velveteen gowns, with low-cut bodices, and pink headdresses, and carried bouquets of roses and tulips. Carl Katz, brother of the bride, was best mas, and- the ushers were: Louis Levine and Nathan Levine. White ribbon bows decorated the hall. Mrs, Katz, mother of the bride, received, wearing a blue crepe gown, pale pink veil, and corsage of pink roses; with Mrs. F. Cahn, cousin of the groom, in a light blue dress, with blue veil, and corsage of roses. The groom was given in marriage by his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. F. Cahn, of Ottawa, Ont. The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in Niagara Falls, the bride travelling in a green suit and white blouse. They will live on Esplanade Avenue. Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. 0. The bride and groom are spending their honeymoon in Atlantic City and Washington, D.C., and will reside in Jamaica, L.I. Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Namerow and daughters, Charlotte and Eleanor; Mr. and Mrs. Morris Namerow, S. Resnick and daughter, Fay, and son, Bernard; William Namerow, brother of the bride; Mrs. A. Leznoff, and Misses Lily Officer, and Ida Plisetsky, all of Montreal. The marriage of Esther, daughter of Councillor and Mrs. Max Seigler, Glencairn Road, to Isidore Schubert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schubert, Queen Mary Road, took place on Sunday evening, June 21, in the ballroom of the Mount Royal Hotel, Rabbi E. F. Mandelcom officiating, assisted by Cantor Nathan Mendelson. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of white nylon, with square shaped neckline and long full sleeves, the bouffant skirt falling into a train. Circulating Exhibit Viewed By Many
An introduction to Jewish history, religion, customs, folk-ways and personalities, in artistic per-trayals was made available to thousands of people throughout the U.S. in the last six months by the program department of the Army and Navy Division of the National Jewish Welfare Board (JWB) through twenty-one circulating exhibits of the works of sixteen leading Jewish artists whose creative talents have concentrated on Jewish themes.
These exhibits were displayed at clubs, Jewish community centers and other Jewish organisation buildings. Her veil was held by a coronet of matching net and pearlt, and she carried a bouquet of white spray orchids and stephanotis.
