Mr. and Mrs. D. Sasant, Rivard Street, entertained st a birthday party in honor of their daughter, Dorothy, who was sixteen years old. Covers were laid for thirty guests. Judy Ross and Minnie Shaffer assisted in serving.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Switzman, Esplanade Avenue, were entertained on their seventh wedding anniversary by the latter'a mother, Mrs. D. Vital, Querbes Avenue, at a garden party and bonfire on the lawn of their country home at Lesage. It was also in celebration of Mrs. Switzman's birthday. Sixty-five guests were present.
