bridesmaids, Misses Sylvia and Goldie Schreiber* sisters of the groom; and Estelle Jacqueline and Reecha Helena Bernstein, sisters of the bride, as junior bridesmaids, all wore pink net gowns, fashioned with drop-shoulder necklines, and full skirts; and matching headdresses; and carried nosegays of mixed flowers. Eleanor and Reena Goldberg, twin cousins of the bride, as flower girls, wore pink and blue floor-length dresses of taffeta, and matching taffeta bows in their hair, ana carried nosegays. Larry Carpman was best man, and the ushers were Boris Stein and Irving Bernstein. Ferns and palms decorated the synagogue. "0, Promise Me" was played. At the Mount Royal Hotel, Mrs. Bernstein, mother of the bride, received in a gown of electric-blue crepe, with silver applique, a matching feather hat with a long ostrich plume, and silver accessories, and a corsage of pink roses; with Mrs. Schreiber, mother of the ^room. in a pink crepe gown, with mulberry-colored accessories, and mulberry hat of maribou feathers, and a corsage of fuchsia-colored roses. The bride's grandmother, Mrs. E. Raj-afsky, wore a gown of gold-colored crepe, with gold sequins, a black feathered hat and accessories, and a corsage of yellow roses. The

The marriage of Miriam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berle Ruv-man, 3791 Arcade Street, to Samuel A. Katz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron M. Katz, of Chicago, 111., took place at Beth David Synagogue, on September 14, at a quarter to eight o'clock, Rabbi Samuel Herschorn officiating, assisted by Cantor F. Schlepack. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white floor-length gown, cut with a high round neckline, long pointed sleeves, fitted bodice of lace, and a satin skirt with a bustle, ending in a long train. Her finger-tip-length veil fell from a heart-shaped lace crown,, and she carried a bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Rubin Raymer, sister of the bride, was matron of honor* She wore a green dress, and matching hood of veiling, and carried a bouquet of gladioli. The � bridesmaids, Misses Helen Nachshen, Shirley Pedovitch, Esther Abrams, and Evelyn Plotnick, in blue; Helen Pedovitch, in pink; and Lily Libman, in yellow; and junior bridesmaids, Belka Rayrner, in blue; and Sarah Katz, in yellow, all wore floor-length gowns, with satin and taffeta bodices, full net skirts, sweetheart necklines, and cap sleeves, and headdresses of deep red roses, with veils to match their gowns, and carried nosegays. Lila Katz, as flower girl, wore a pink net dress, headdress of deep red roses and pink veiling, and carried a basket of rose petals. Philip Ruvman, brother of the bride, was best man; and Hershel Fitelberg, in full dress, was ring-bearer. The synagogue was decorated with gladioli and candelabra, and the altar, with ferns. The groom's father sang "Because" and "Boruch-Habo". Mrs. Ruvroan, man, mother of the bride, received at dinner in a black crepe gown, with a net top, and a matching crepe hat, covered with black sequins, and a corsage of rosea; with Mrs. Katz, mother of the groom, in a turquoise-blue crepe gown, and a blatk tulle hat, covered with gold seqjuins, black tulle gloves, and a of roses.
