GROSSINGER'S GREATENNIS
THE EMINENT EPSTEINS
Eli and Evelyn Epstein, husband and wife, are two important reasons why tennis is great at Groasingcr't. They work together beautifully. Evelyn, the tennis hostess, supervises a variety of Grosainger tennis tournaments, including the competition for the Eddie Cantor and Milton Berle trophies. Eli, who is the Yeshiva University tennis varsity coach, conducts free tennis-instruction clinics and gives private lessons. Eli and Ev arrange for exhibitions to be played here by some of the country's leading tennis stars. The Epsteins see to it that the all-weather courts at Gross inker's are the scene of happy activity. You'll like the friendly Epsteins. The Ainerkan-Israd Pavilion at the New York World's Fair will open this year with new exhibits, products and attractions for young and old, and for people of all faiths. One of the most exciting additions to the Land of the Bible

Another addition to the Holy Land exhibit is a life-size, three-dimensional scene portraying how copper was mined and processed during the time of King Solomon. This exhibit was inspired by recent archaeological discoveries on the site of the historic mines in the Negev. Due to the small supply of fuel, in those days, it was necessary to build a furnace which would generate great quantities of heat from very little wood.
A rare collection of 12 clay idols worshipped by the ancients of Cana'an, a group of weapons of the period and a collection of clay and glass utensils dating to 3,000 years ago are other additions to the Biblical exhibit. These collections were assembled and made available for the Fair by Jerome Eisenberg,
of the Royal Athena Galleries, of New York,

These various additions augment rather than replace the many displays and scenes for which the American - Israel Pavilion was declared "a must" in 1964.
