Mix well in electric mixer and spread thinly over the rolled dough. Then roll small pieces at a time, like a jelly roll Each piece should be about six inches by one inch. Then curl each piece and fasten together with a tooth-pick. Brush the top with milk or egg, and bake in a slow oven until a golden brown. Serve with sour cream while the knishes are piping hot. This recipe is for twelve knishes.

The marriage of Gertrude, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Oreenglass, 38 Hillcrest Drive, to Melvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Richmond, 738 Manning Avenne, took place at McCaul Street Synagogue, on Tuesday, February 17,
at half-past five o'clock, Rabbi Reubin Slonim officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white brocaded gown, with sheer neckline off-the-shouider, long sleeves, tapered to the wrists, and a tight bodice falling to a full skirt with a scalloped peplum. Her headdress of fan-shaded ostrich feathers caught a long tulle veil and she carried a brocaded muff covered with white orchids, hyacinths, and streamers of ribbons. They will reside at 36 Hillcrest Drive. Among the wedding guests were Mr. and Mrs. L. Tarnofsky and family of Montreal, Que.; Mr. and Mrs. M. Tarnofsky, of Cornwall; John Duncan, of Chicago, HI.; Mr. and Mrs. S. Cohn, and Mrs. P. Price, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Mr. and Mrs. M. Cher-ney, of Detroit, Mich.

Following dinner at the Shaarei Sho-mayim Synagogue, Mrs. Kaiman, mother of the bride received, wearing a light blue crepe gown, embroidered with beads and pearl beads, and orchids in her hair; with Mrs. Fromer, mother of the groom, wearing a gray crepe gown, and orchids in her hair. The bride and groom left for a wedding trip to Montreal and the Laurentians, the former wearing a gray ballerina suit, a gray lamb coat, gray hat, and corsage of pink carnations. Mr. and Mrs. M. Silver, of St. Catherines; Mr. and Mrs. 0. Black, Mr. and Mrs. S. Black, Mr. and Mrs. S. Brown, of Oshawa; Mr.' and Mrs. G. Brown of Kitchener; and H. Marx, of New York, were wedding guests.
