Weizmann Chapter met at the home of Mrs. David Wolf son, Rosemary Road, with Mrs. Samuel Glazier presiding. Bazaar conveners are Mrs. M. Dick, Mrs. H. Breslin. � Montague Raisman, 331 Waimer Road, C.L.U., was one of the principal participants in a course and conference on Advanced Life Underwriting, conducted by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, in Toronto, Detroit, and Ottawa.
� MIZRACH1 WOMEN'S Organization: Minnie Etlin Chapter met at the home of Mrs. E. Newman, 210 Havelock Street. An appeal was made for furniture and linens for the Hadati Farm in Guelph. Mrs. H. Bassen donated a three-piece chesterfield set, and linens were collected by Mrs. M. Kurtz. A rummage sale was planned for Thursday, October 28, at 230 Parliament Street; Chanukah party, December 18, at the home of Mrs. William Wolfish, 157 Glen Road; annual tea on March 6.

t) BNAI BRITH WOMEN, Upper Canada Chapter, Number 544, met at the Royal York Hotel, Miss Lucy Hartzman presiding. A Menorah pin, for outstanding work was presented to Miss Min Push-koff, by the president, Miss Hartzman. Miss Shirley Demsky, dance chairman, gave a report on the dance to be held in November, at the Royal York Hotel. Guest soloist was Miss Renee Star, who sang, accompanied by Miss Pearl David at the piano. Program chairman, Miss Miriam Mayson, introduced the guest speaker, Leon Weinstein, of Toronto Lodge.

She is survived by her husband, Vern Epter; two brothers, Morcfe Tarnofsky, of Cornwall; and LouW Tarnofsky, of Montreal, Que.; four sisters, Mrs. Abraham Malinsky (Fannie); Mrs. Jack Lerner (Gertrude); Mrs. Morris Greenglass (Anne); Mrs. Jack Snitzer (Kate); one son, John Duncan, of Chicago, 111.; and one daughter, Mrs. Harry Stein (Ruth).
