B. D. Levin, of the Economic Department of the Jewish Agency For Israel, is returning to Israel after completing a two-year assignment in Canada, also as representative of the Aliyah Department for the Province of Ontario.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Yassi, 5126 Doherty Street, celebrated the bar-mitzvah of their son, Joseph Avrum, who was called to the Reading of. the Law, at Shaare Zion Synagogue. He is the brother of Annalee, aged twelve years; grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Helfield; and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Yassi; all of Montreal. Kiddush was observed. Afterwards Mr. and Mrs. Yassi were hosts to two hundred gue�4� at a luncheon. The hostess wore a powder-blue, silk, shantung ensemble; with a blue, straw hat; and a corsage of mauve orchids. Anna-lee wore a white, and blue silk suit; with a white, straw hat. Seated at the head table with the family were: Rabbi and Mrs. Maurice S. Cohen, Cantor and Mrs. S. Gisser, and A. Chodos. The bar-

The marriage of Miss Judy Wiseman, daughter of Mrs. Anne Wiseman, 4865 St Catherine Road, to Larry Rosen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rosen, 6244 Westbury Avenue, was solemnized at Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, on Sunday, March 21, at six o'clock. Dr. Solomon Frank, Rabbi, officiated, assisted by Cantor Goodman Aronson. The bride was given in marriage by her mother, and her uncle, Max Gar-tenberg. She wore a white, organza gown, appliqued with seed-pearl-beads. It had a round neckline; three-quarter-length sleeves; and full skirt with a long train appliqued with roses. Her tulle illusion veil was topped by a seed-pearl-beaded crown; and she carried a bouquet of white Sweetheart roses, and atephanotis. Mrs. Harry Z. Lewin was matron of honour. She wore a blue, lace gown, edged with gold-<oloured face, made with a straight skirt. She had a beaded crown; and carried pink roses. David Cohen was best man for his cousin.
