In his address, "Youth Demands An Answer", the speaker stressed the importance of strengthening the foundations of the democratic way of life, the keystone of which is the belief in the human freedoms and the right to be different. Mrs. David Jacobs thanked him. Mrs. Philip Levy, president, paid tribute to the memory of Mrs. Joseph Levinson, Sr., and of Mrs. Sara Greenblatt. Appreciation was expressed to Mrs. Edward Solomon, president of the Eastern Canadian Branch of the National Women's League, and honorary president of the Auxiliary.
