At a joint meeting in Toronto of the national executive of the Canadian Jewish Congress and representatives of the Zionist Organization of Canada, the Labor Zionists of Canada and the Mizrachi Organization of Canada, proposals were made that a conference of fund-raising and national emergency planning be convened in Canada following the pattern of the Washington sessions, with, however, the necessary changes to be made to meet Canadian conditions as well as other differences.
