Spring, Rusholme Road, and the late Joseph Spring, takes place on April 1, at Murray House. There were about seventy guests. Mrs. S. Blackstein, the bride-elect's mother, wore a bronze-coloured crepe and , lace afternoon dress, with corsage of Talisman roses. Mrs. M. Spring, the groom-elect's mother, wore a green crepe afternoon dress, trimmed with beading around the neckline, and corsage of pink roses. The honouree wore a cocktail dress which had a turquoise-blue metallic top, Chinese neckline, three-quarter-length sleeves, and full black crepe skirt; also, corsage of red roses. Red and white roses were combined with pink lighted candles for the table decoration.
A surprise golden wedding anniversary celebration was given for Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Tepperman, 55 Oxford Street, by their children at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Tepperman, 31 Crang Avenue.
