their son and daughter-in-law, were there. Mrs, Bernstein wore a navy-blue crepe dress which was designed with white .trimming, a slim skirt, and V-meck-line. Mrs. J. Garoff wore a black velvet skirt, and a metallic white and gold blouse, having cap sleeves, amd Chinese neckline. The hostess was in a cocoa-coloured faille dress with square neckline, and draped skirt. The table was decorated with a centrepiece of daffodils, irises, snapdragons, and tulips.
Harvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben. Zalter, MacDonald Avenue, was called to the Reading of the , Law at Chevra Shass Synagogue. Kiddush followed. He is the brother of Leonard, Joseph and Roslyn; and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. N. Sazant, Durocher Avenue. A dinner followed in the Tzigane Room of the Bucharest, with forty guests. This occasion was also the fortieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Sazant A centrepiece of white snapdragons, carnations, and blue irises formed the table decoration, and the bar-mitzvah cake was in the shape of a scroll.
