Moe Levitt, 323 Grosvenor Avenue, Montreal, is chairman of the 1951 Montreal campaign of the National United Israel Appeal. With Bernard Joseph, formerly of Montreal, now o Minister in the Cabinet of the Government of Israel, Mr. Levitt organized the Young Judaea Movement in Canada and was at one time the president of Canadian Young Judaea. Mr. Levitt has been active in the work of the United Israel Appeal for a number of years, particularly in the clothing division of the campaign. He is vice-president of the Y.M.-Y.W.H.A.; was chairman of the Building Committee for the new Y., ond served as executive chairman of the fund-raising campaigns to construct the new building, in 1943 and 1948. Mr. Levitt served as chairman of the Combined Jewish Appeal Clothing Division during the 1950 Montreal drive ond Is a trustee of the United Talmud Torohs. A graduate of the School of Commerce of McGill University, and a partner of Freedmon Clothing Company Ltd., one of the largest clothing firms in Canada, he is president of the National Council of Clothing Manufacturers of Canada, and director of the Associated Clothing Manufacturers of Quebec.
