I BEUEVE IN GODs
"In Toronto a mintster was taken to court for persuadínig a churdi mexaber to leave ail hia belongtogB in his wiU to tfae cimtch instead of relatives. The only answer the mínister had to say was, that he was right and that God was with h|m. I wonder how long this has been going on?
Forgive Them, For They Do^ Not Know What They Are 0omg:
. Ycs, I mean the Canadian Government, To the Canadián Citizen I would liké to freshen up théir memories on a few things. Wliat has Canada left? Where does our tax moriey go? And .what are we doirig about it? Approxiuiiately ' %s of Canada's Wtural respurces and industry are in the hands of foreign countries such as U.S. and Britain. In one-case, they get the oU for hexttonothing and on top of that our govem-ment loans the Tankees 80 millión dollars to build a pipe line for Canada, and get this, over 75 per cent of the- people employed wijl W Americans.
Eight millión dpUars up in the &ir was granted by the govemment to buiíd'a jet airliaér/The aírcraft was built and flown twice with a cargo load of sand; This'is rather unusual fop the only way it would fly was withi its rc»r full of sand. To Bili Czegledi this-sounds üke an expense buin deal.
X^ast but not least, Canadians are putting acrbss the grocera vcounter over 10 millión dollars a month, due tö the high cost of living. \ _ -
Toronto:
People in Toronto are getting to be like American cigaret-: tes, one regUlar, the other king size and 1 inean king siiéjack-asses. Let's look at somé of our teen-agers. Eighl^ teen-agerá were slapped into Don jail for attending a boozé party, on Beverley street. What typeof parents will they make? Possibíy like Mr. and 3írs. Vilíeneuve who were charged in a Toronto court with carrying on a drinking party with föur children in the same room xttngihg fmm the ages of 11 months to 10 years.
Here's something for the m'ovie goers, in Toronto the Rio theatre on Young Street in additionto shöwing fiüns to the patrons they put on a show themselves. In the past month two of-the theatre's patrons have been charged in eourt with indecent exposure the witnesses being as young as ten yeara of age.

Rose BalIa:
WeÜ folks, here we have Mrs. Rose Balla, the former Rose Czeglédi. She is married to a véry-nice guy and is the mother of two very nice children. Rose was a very active member
taking part in plays with her hus-band, also singing, aád acrobating,, thrilling audiences as far back as^ 1Ó42. Rose was awarded ^the bronzé medál by Major Monday for doing an outstanding job with the sun-shine foUies performing 150 times for our armed forces in one year. In Newmarket, in 1947 she was awarded a trophy for being an outstanding athlete. Mrs. Balla'^would üke to thank the organization in making it possible for her to de^,, velope her talénts. ,She was also teacher of the Ady Gymnastic Group. Leslie, her son, is a member of the Children's Dance Group and' Rose thinks it's a wonderful oppor-tunity and keeps the children off the streets^ Being a member of the Ady Bancé Group since January, she feels that it is a wonderful recreation for a yóung married woman and urges other young married woman'to jóin also. I feel that Rose and her husband have set a fine example of a good Hungárián family and that with people like'these our organization will continue to grow in culture and in niaking our Canada better for cvery woricing man. Lots of luck to her and her familj% K S. A reál swell alster.

It was ah old-style Hun-*^ garian village wedding party held tö celebrate the maöiage of two members of the Hungárián Dance En-semble teám now performing at the Palace Theatre. Guests drank a»toast on the door-step and had wine thrown over their shoes as they did so — an old Magyar custom.
All the ingrediénts of a pea-sant gathering, includlng Tokay apricot brandy and "Bull's blood of E^:er" — Hungary*s most po-tent red wine — made an exclting evening. _ _
Great cauldrons of steaming gouiaah töpped with , cream and immense slabs of chocolate cake were brought in by moustachioed dancers.
