KANADAI MAGYAR MUNKÁS
1949 NOVEMBER 24, CSÜTÖRTÖK
(A Hungárián Bulletin riportja)
A londoni százméteres női gyorsúszó versenyének egyik ©lőfutamában egy tizenhat ővet magyar lány fél másodperccel, 1:08.3-ra ja^^ltotta a magyar rekordot. :
'J'emesi Judit a neve. Júniusban kitüntetéssel végezte á középiskolát, érettiségii
tett és most iratkozott be a budapesti egyet-m orvosi fakultására. De úszásban már . most i.janydiplomát kaphat.
Legközelebbi veráenye december 4.-én lesz a 33.3 méteres Jbudapes-ti fedettuszodában. A szakértők világrekordot várnak ezúttal tőle.
nik a kis Juditot világrekordra. >Meg is jegyeztük mestere előtt:
— Becslésünk szerint Te-mesj ma l:05;6-ra képes.
— Majdpem — felelte Rajki Béla. Arca elárulta,
hogy őt sem lepné meg a világrekord. , ;'
A december 4.-i verseny alighanem szenzációs eredményt hoz. •
