"We will be taking different parts of the Haggadah and highlighting them," .said Ms. Ix'vin. "We will be physically making a new Haggadah of about 10-12 pages."
Kabbi Yechiel Bailolman of ("habad will be coming to give les.s<)ns on .Jewish calligniphy and a visit is also planned for Dr. Michael Hayden, an internationally renowned geneticist, who has a collection of about .'1,000 Haggadot.

gation Beth Hamidrash is offering a discussion group on contemporary .Jewish thinkers, a Tuesday lunch discussion of liab-bi Shlomo Yitchaki liashi's commentaries on the Bible and a Torah portion discussion every week, one hour before afternoon pi-ayere. The adult eduaition program is free.
The synagogue also gives a Sunday school program for children aged 5-12. The program teaches Jewish customs, particularly around Sephardic life, as well as prayer and services.
Beth Israel offers Grades 2-7 clas.ses in Hebrew, Jewish customs, festivals, Jewish law and histoiy.
Besides the Kosher Internet ("afe, Ta Da! It's your Haggadah! and classes in Hebrew, TAG will offer JELLO — Jewish Ethics and licssoas Ijeamt from CXir traditions. The Rabbi Rocks — a discussion group on contentious issues in .Jewish society and From the Shtetl to the DP camp — a course exploring Holocaust issues.
Beth Tikvah in Richmond offers a regular Hebrew school for kindei-garten to Grade 7. Classes meet between two and three times a week. Studies include Hebrew, Israel, Jewish culture and prayers.
Adult education courses are al.so offered Sunday mornings monthly on the books of the Torah, Monday evenings monthly on Jewish mysticism, Thursday mornings weekly on the Torah portion and Thursday evenings weekly on Psalms.
Burquest Jewish Community Association offers Sunday school for preschool through age 13. Adult classes include Hebrew.
Chabad Lubavitch has Grade 1-7 classes on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings which include the study of Hebrew, mitzvah, Shabbat, holidays, prayers, Torah and Israel. Adult courses include Chassidic philosophy as well as Kaballah on Thursday nights. Sunday mornings at the Kitsilano Chabad, beginner minion classes arc given
over breakfast.
Congregation Har-El has classes for preschool to Grade 7 at various times during the week. Courses include Hebrew, history, Israel, customs, holidays and Bible.
Or Shalom offers various classes for preschool to Grade 7 which meet weekly in the late afternoon and include Hebrew, prayer, holiday, Bible, spirituality, ethics and Israel. Adult education includes Hebrew prayer, contemporary ethics and classes in meditation.
Vancouver Peretz School gives classes for ages 3-13 on courses that include Jewish culture and holiday celebration, theatre classes for those aged 8-14, as well as courses on Yiddish for adults.
