The Honorable Mr. Justice A. E.Branca^ chairman of the camp Miriam Finance committee, has announced six appointments to the Building committee chaired by well rknown construction figure, George Wilkinson. Those persons ; named by Mr. /Justice ' Branca this week are; Morris BelkinjSam^^^Bel2bergi'Arthur Fouks Q.C., Leonard^ Narbd, Dr. Charles Paris and Joe Segal.
Morris Belkin was formerly president of the Jewish Com-munity Centre and headed the 1974 United Jewish Appeal'campaign. In 1975' he was chosen by the Israel: Bond Organization^ as the "Man of the Year." Ite is a director of B.C; Development Corportation and president' of Belkin Packaging. ^
Sam Belzberg is highly regarded in 'biisinessand philanthropic organizations throughout Canada. He - holds several directorships , in the financial community and is president of City Savings and f Trust,
Arthur Fouks, Q.C. was formerly president of the B.C. Heart Foundation;- and ^served on the board of governors at UBC for nine years; In 1967 he headed : the UJA Emergency Campaign during the Six-Day War. At present he is a director of the Bank of B.C. <
Leonard Narod is-a director of 5 -the internationally-known; engineering and architectural ' firm of PhiHips Barratt, a group - of 160 engineersv architects and : technicians. He'has been associated with various projects - throughout Canada-, including the Pacific CoUiseum, the Air Terminal building at ^Vancouver j International Airport and the Thunderbird Arena at UBC.
