Mother and Daughter
Night Proves Successful
A capacity audience attended at the recent MOTHER AND DAUGHTER night, when a charmingly arranged and interesting programme was carried out at the Community Centre.
The pupils of the well known dancing teacher, Madame Zinck, rendered several artistic dance numbers, that were much appreciated.
A one act Farce entitled "The Tryst-ing Place" was very ably directed by Miss Anna Goldberg. Those taking-part in the playlet were Miss Anna Chess, Miss Freda Silverman, Miss Margaret Shifton, Mr. Nathan Nemetz, Mr. David Freeman, Mr. Louis Horowitz and Mr. Bill Hirschberg.
This was enjoyed immensely by the audience.
After the programme, the mothers presented little gifts to each daughter, and refreshments were then served.

Mrs. David Druxerman's Post-Nuptial Reception
A very charming affair- on Sunday afternoon was the tea at which Mrs. N. Bell received her friends at her hom.e, in honor of her daughter, Mrs., David Druxerman> whose marriage was a recent event.
Gay spring flowers in many hues lent a delightful atmosphere to the reception rooms. These fragrant blossoms were also used most effectively as the centre motif at the prettily appointed tea table which was covered with a lovely lace cloth, and tall flaming tapers cast a mellow glow over the whole.
Presiding at the urns were Mrs. S. Gintzberger, Mrs. M. Plant, Mrs. D. Balcovske and Mrs. A. Kahn, while Mrs. Frankenburg and Mrs. L J. Klein cut"the ices. Assisting throughout the rooms were: Mrs. H. J. Allen, Mrs. W. Sugarman, Mrs. E. R. Sugarman, Mrs. MT Brotman, and Mrs H. Rosenbaum.
Many beautiful wedding gifts were displayed in the sun parlor and a novel touch which proved most interesting was the showing of moving pictures of Mr. and Mrs. Druxermah's wedding, these were shown on a screen in the living room.
