Both days are held as saered. In all Synagagues throughout Europe floral decorations are exhibited all around the building in remembrance of the significance of the day. It has been the custom for many years ffor the- Boths-' child family to supply all the floral decorations to the Great Cathedral Synagogue in the East End of London in Avhich they worshilp.
Parents are reminded that arrangements: have been made mth the Superintendent of Education for the absence of Jewish children on Shevuous.

Jewish Dramatic Society Elects Officers
The newly elected officers of the Jewish Dramatic Society are as follows: President. Mr. H. Pelman, Secretary, Mr. J. Shaffer, Treasurer, Mr. Slobin, Dramatic Director, Mr, Asof-sky.
The officers of the society were installed recently at a banquet, at the liome of Mrs. Mazelow when hostesses were Mrs. Mazelow, Miss P. Sarrota and Mrs. A. Lapidus.
The society are going ahead with plans tliat promise an active aJid enjoyable season not only to their members, but to the large JeAvish public who are interested in Drama.

Talmud Torah Ladies'
Garden Party To Be Held June 15
The season for garden parties is now approaching^ and an event is being planned by the Talmud Torah Ladies Auxiliary which promises to be very enjoyable.
Tliis Garden Party will take place at the lovely home and garden of Mrs. A. Eichmond, 1716 King Edward Ave. W., on Wednesday afternoon June 15.
Every guest entering will be given a numbered ticket, and a door prize will then be drawn for.
Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Goldberg of the Rose Shop have donated a $5.00 credit note, which will be the door prize.
Bridge and Mah Jong will be played during the afternoon, and refreshments will be served during the Tea Hour.
All the ladies in the community are cordially invited to attend this affair.

The Shower on May 25, at the home of Mrs. M. Glucksman proved very successful, and the President and Executive extend thanks to the many members and friends who participated in this.

THE GARDEN PARTY
June 29 is the date set for the B. B. Ladies Garden Party, and elaborate plans are being made for the success of this event. It will be held,, as on previous years, at the lovely home and garden of Mrs. N. L. Lando, and many specially attractive features for thC' pleasure of the guests, are being planned.
A Fancywork and liome cooking booth will be arranged at the Garden Party. Watch the Bulletin for further announcements about this summer event.

THE MEETING
Tlie next regular meeting of the B. B. Ladies Auxiliary will be held •on Tuesday, June 7, at 8:15 p.m. After the regular business of the meeting., an enjoyable hour mil be spent with bridge, mah jong and refreshments. All members are urged to attend.

Masonic Order Honors Jew
Tho many Jewish members of the Masonic fraternity in this city will be pleased to learn of the honor conferred on a Brother Mason in London, England.
The following is an extract from the London Jewish Chronicle of May 6, 1932: "Wior. Bro. the Eev. Isaac Goldston of the New West End: Synagogue, has been appointed by the command of the Most Worshipful Grand Master, H.R.H. the Duke of Connaught, K.G., to the rank of Assistant Grand Chaplain in the Grand Lodge of England. We understand that this is the first time a Jewish minister has been so honored. Worshipful Bro. Goldston was invested, at the Grand Festival held last week at the Central Hall, Westminster, and received congratulations from all classes of Freemasons."
The Eev. Isaac Goldston is a younger brother of our editor, Mr. Sim A. Goldston. ;
At the same festival, Bro. Lewis Philips, Senior Warden of the Western Synagogue and Treasurer of Samson Lodge 1668, was appointed as Past Assistant Grand Standard Bearer of the Grand' Lodge of England.
Mr. Norbert Weininger, who is an active and-popular member of the Jewish community left last week for Los Angeles, to make his home there. He will join his wife, who preceded him to tlie Southern city.
Their rnany friends will wish them much success and happiness in their new environment.
