The installation of the newly elected officejs..of.,tlie Vancpuyei-.A. Z. A. was held at alja'nquet at Xove's Cafe on Tuesday, June 28. This event also marked the close of activities for the season.
After the dinner, Harry Katznelson contribu'ted several violin selections and was ably accompanied by Jack Avison, radio artist.
Dr. J. I. Gorosh, International Senior Deputy, installed the newly elected Alephs in the following order: Aleph Godol (President), Samuel Lip-son; Aleph S'gan (Vice-president), Jack Fouks; Aleph Gisbor (Treasurer), Arthur Freeman; Alepli Maz-kir (Secretary), Bert Edwards; Aleph Cohen Godol, Isadore Pelman; Aleph Shotare Kotone (outer guard), Sam Gurcvicli; Aleph Shotare GodoUinner guard), Harry Snider; Aleph Sopher (reporter), Harry Katznelson.
Aleph Sam Izcn proposed a toast to the outgoing executive and presented Isadore Pelman. outgoing President, with a Past Aleph Godol's Pin. Aloph Pelman replied tn 'the tnast and also gave a brief outline of the A. Z. A.'s activities during his term. Toasts followed by Stanley Director, Oliarlie Kemp and Harry Katznelson, to the newly elected officers, advisors and Samuel Lodge respectively. Toasts were suitably and appropriately answered, speakers being Bro. Oold-smitli. President o.f tlio^ local B'nai B'ritli Lodge; Bro. M. L. Greene. District De])'.ity of tlie Grand Lodge; and Bro. N. C. Levin. Alenh Katznelson proposed a toast to Brotlie.rs Potter and Eevaii for tlieir work witli tlio Boy Scouts and Cubs". The B. B. Picnic is looming nearer and nearer, brotlicr Aleplis, and that means competitions in baseball, tennis .and other sports. Tliat means that you must turn out and practise. In spite of the depression, the recent- B'nai B'rith Ladies' Auxiliary Garden Party, at the home of Mrs. N. L. Lando, on June 2?, proved to be an outstanding success, and far exceeded the expectations of the committee in charge.
Mrs. Lando's beautiful garden, with its profusion of lovely blooms, was an attractive setting for the artistically arranged' tables and. booths, and the fragrance of the ma.i/ flowers added much to th© pleasure lof the day. Both the afternoon garden party, and the evening supper party, were successful socially and financially.
Mrs. S. A. Nemetz, Pi-esident of the Auxiliary, and M^'s. M." Potter, Past President, together with executive members, take this opportunity of extending thanks to Mrs. N. L. Lando for lier generosity in lending her lovely home and garden for this event. Thanks are also extended to Mrs. Stone and to Mrs. S. Petersky, for giving of their time in reading tea-cups for the many guests.
To the hostesses, members and friends, who contributed to tlid success of this annual event, the executive of the Auxiliary extends sincere? 'thanks.
A beautiful doll has been donated to the B'nai B'rith Ladies' Auxilia/ry, by Mrs. N. L. Lando, and a lovely real fur coat has been made for the doll and donated by Mrs A. Kiclimond. This lovely doll, dressed in its lovely new fur coat, will be raffled by the B'nai B'rith Ladies in the near future.

Another big social event now being planned by the B'nai B'rith Ladies Auxiliary is tlie Yom Kippur dance. Particulars will appear in later issues of tlie "Bulletin."

The "Bulletin" committee are now preparing a special issue of tiiispublieation, to commemorate the nintieth anniversary of the founding of the B'nai B'rith Order and the Twenty-second anniversary of the founding of Samuel Lodge.
The committee, appreciating the significance of this double anniversary, are putting forth every effort to make the B'nai B'llth Anniversary Number one that will be worthy of the event.

Essay Competitions On World Peace Being Held
We are in receipt of a letter from the International World Peace Committee of Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood of Montreal, inviting the Jewish boys and girls of British Columbia to enter into a contest for the best Peace Essay.
There will be two money prizes. First prize for children up to tlie age of 12, $10. First prize for boys and girls between 12 and 16 years of age, $15.
Subjects for Junior sections are as follows:
1. How can boys and girls help promote world peace?
2. Eeligion and world peace.
3. Historical heroes of peace. 4 Living heroes of peace. Subjects for Senior Section are:
1. The Contribution of the Jews to International' world peace.
2. Some great apostles of world peace.
3. Contribution of literature to world peace.
4. Women's share in establishing world peace.
5. Youth and world peace.
The following are the rules govern-the Contest:
1. Essays to be between 500 and 1000 words.
2. Essays to be written neatly on' one side of page only. .
3. Essays to be written on any one of the subjects listed above.
4. Essays to be signed with full name, address and age.
5. Essays to be mailed to 4128 Sher-brooke St. West, Montreal, before October 15, 1932.
Further particulars will be published as announced, and can be obtained fro mthe Editor. It is hoped that many of our boys and girls will enter this contest.

Council Camp For Girls
To Be Open In August
The annua Isummer camp for Jewish girls, conducted by the Council of Jewisli Women, will this year be located near Horseshoe Bay at the beautiful cimp site now occupied by the Y.W.C.A.
This camp is fully equipped to take care of fifty girls, and is situated at lovely Copper C!ove. Council camp will be conducted 'from August 8 to August L'2, under the able supervision of Mrs. Wm Fisher, affectionately called "Auntie Doris". The camp will serve kosher food, and girls attending will bo assured an enjoyable .and inexpensive vacation. Girls who have not already registered with the Council ma.v do so now. There will be ;i nominal charge of .i'.I.OO per week.
The camp grounds (contain tennis courts and swings, and it is planned to liold nature study circles for those-who wish to jiiirticipate.
Mrs. M. Koenigsberg is cli;iiriniin of the camp committee. On this committee witli her arc Mrs M. M. Grossman, Mrs. Wm. Fisher,' Mrs. Norman Brown, Mrs. G. L. Plant, Mrs. M. Plant, and Mrs. H. B Kalin.
