Vancouver Jewish Drama Society
By MRS. N. SWICK
In Vancouver a Jewish Dramatic Society has been successfully organized. The ambitious three-act production, "Awake and Sing," by Clifford Odets, is now in production. The organization is anxious to contact all members of the community interested in production of drama as plans for another play will be under way soon, and there is much' latent talent in the com-mxmity, both for acting and producing, that can be developed.
The United Jewish People's Order feels that as well as aiding Jews throughout the world, the position of Jews in Canada can be greatly enhanced, and the whole pattern of Canadian culture enriched by this genuine effort to build and maintain such cultural endeavors.
