Ali9iitttiecgver:
Tliis drawing portrays tlie annual lighting of the Agam Menorali in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Baila Lazanis hadn't done any watercol-or painting (or painting of any kind, for that matter) since her days as a university student in architecture. She was recently inspired when, standing in line at the new Olive Garden in Langley, she spotted a Michaels crafts store. Dashing through the pouring rain, she picked up the first watcrcolor paper pad she has bouglit in 20 years and got to work.
"First Light" by Baila Lazarus. Watercolor on paper.
