WEIZMANN CHAPTER held its last nieeting on Tuesday, January 5 at the home of Mrs. Geo. Flshman, with Mrs. R. J. Beck as co-hostess. David Youngson was guest speaker and gave a very interesting account of his recent visit to Israel. . . . The next meeting will be held Tuesday, February 2 at the home of Mrs. J. Satanov, 6069 Cartier^ with Mrs. J. Jampolsky as co-hostess.

BETH ISRAEL SISTERHOOD will hold a luncheon meeting in the Auditorium at 12:30 pm. on January 20 at which they will present "The Songs We Sing,'* a National Women's League presentation. Mrs.' Leon Tessler will be narrator while Mrs. A. B. Greenberg will be pianist. Vocalists will be Mesdames David Ko-gen, Sam Gould and Max Abram-son and they will render traditional Jewish songs which will portray the laughter and tears, courage and humility, wit and faith of the Jewish people. . . Mrs. Joe Satanov and Mrs. A. Wasel will convene this luncheon.
Members will receive a copy of Sisterhood's new by-laws with their meeting noti^, aad they are asked to read them carefully and be prepared to vote on them at

.... - * * ... * GOLDEN AGE CLUB members had another wonderful afternoon on Monday, January 11 when Mrs. Sam Goiild returned to entertain the members with a program of delightful Jewish inelor dies. The ovation which greeted her was reward enough for Mrs. Gould who never hesitates to sing for the*club when requested. She was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. O. Wire who also pror vided a special tea party in honor of the birth of her first grandchild. This program was arranged by Mrs. M. Silverman, program chairman. ... Special mention should also be made of Mrs. A. Zucker who' is hot Only in chso^ge of refreshmentis each week but also acts as entertainer frequently, telling Yiddish stories in a most engaging manner.
